Chemfilm
CHEMFILM:
Chemfilm, also known as chromate conversion coating or Alodine coating, is a chemical surface treatment process used to protect aluminum from corrosion. The process involves immersing the metal in a solution containing chromate salts, which creates a thin layer of chromate conversion coating on the surface of the metal.
Chemfilm provides several benefits to metal components. The coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, which makes it ideal for use in harsh environments. Additionally, it enhances the adhesion of paint and other coatings to the surface of the metal, improving its durability and longevity.
Chemfilm is commonly used in the aerospace and defense industries, where the protection of aluminum and other metals is essential. It is also used in electronics, automotive, and other industries where corrosion resistance is important.

Chemfilm can be applied in different colors, including clear, and gold/yellow. The thickness of the coating can be controlled to achieve different levels of corrosion resistance and/or conductivity.
Chemfilm is an effective surface treatment that provides excellent corrosion protection and enhances the durability of metal components. It is a widely used process in many industries, where the protection of metal surfaces is critical.
